following research into LGV collisions that shows almost a fifth occur when the vehicle is travelling backwards. The study involved analysing almost 80,000 motor fleet insurance claims. Fleet risk management solutions provider Interactive Driving Systems says its study shows that heavy CV reversing collisions account for 19% of the 3,521 lorry-related claims it analysed.
