Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

letter in a recent issue (CM 8-14 March) it looks to me to be a total carbon copy of the previous letter that Mr Robertson wrote either to yourselves or another trade magazine.

Although I sympathise totally with his problems, I feel I must point out that one of the major problems that he can have is that he has no experience of management. However, that is no explanation or excuse for any of the employers who have not bothered to reply to his letters.

I think possibly Mr Robertson ought to examine his CV or his approach to these jobs and ought to even approach a profesional organisation to prepare a CV for him. He has to bear in mind that he is asking a haulage company or any other company to put in his hands vehicles worth approximately 50-70,000 apiece plus the livelihoods of the drivers and the operator himself.

The CPC certificate does not mean an automatic qualification to become a transport manager. Management is far harder than purely passing an examination.

I do sympathise with him and unfortunately I am not in a position to offer him a job. However. I can, should he require it, put a CV together which will be presentable to any employer.
