• Lancaster City Transport has centralised its activities with the move of the Lonsdale Coaches subsidiary to the main depot at Morecambe.
LCT's fleet reductions of last autumn have released sufficient space for Lonsdale to run out of the Morecambe depot. The Lonsdale premises at Heysham are up for sale, but no redundancies have been made.
Lonsdale will continue to operate separate coaching activities and has added three more vehicles to its fleet. Two are full-size coaches and the third is an Optare City Pacer.
