• Tipper and truck-loader specialist Welford Truck Bodies of Warley and its sister company, bodybuilder Welford Truck Bodies (Northern), have been acquired by Omega (UK) Holdings.
Both companies, which were previously owned by BSG In ternational, will continue to operate independently. The W'arley-based firm plans to increase its turnover from 22.75m to over £3m this year.
However, the northern company predicts its turnover will drop from last year's £1.3m to .£1 million this year.
