• VBG Produkter of Sweden has acquired Cheshire-based Dayton Walther, the UK supplier of fifth-wheel couplings.
Richard Persson, managing director of VBG, says Dayton Walther is a "particularly appropriate" partner for the Swedish firth, which dominates the Scandinavian market for coupling systems for trucks and towing brackets for cars. "Joining forces will provide growth opportunities for both parties," he says.
