A FORMER Bedford Truck apprentice has become product planning manager for Leyland Trucks.
David Burke, began his career in 1974 with a fouryear apprenticeship in business studies at Bedford.
In 1980, he moved to MAN-VW Truck and Bus as a product analyst and later became sales office manager.
He became product manager in 1983, a post he held until his move to Leyland Trucks.
As product planning manager, he will he key member of the team responsible for further development of Leyland's T45 range.
