Transport employees of the North Staffs action group turned out last Saturday to parade around the Potteries in protest against the Transport Bill. The group stated that the public was unaware of the effects of the Bill; the parade was watched by over 50,000 people. To give maximum coverage to the 75 square miles of the Potteries, two routes each of 20 miles were chosen. The 56 vehicles, operated by A. B and C licence holders, were dressed with anti-Bill slogans.
