'THERE are several contract A I switches notified this week, though the number of vehicles sought in each ease is not large.
In the North West, H. L. Bentley Ltd., of Manchester, seek a variation of their A licence by the addition of seven vehicles to carry steel and concrete products for a named customer and its subsidiaries. An application involving a new A licence for six vehicles appears in the Scottish "As and Ds ". It is by Messrs. Smith, Brown and Dempsey, trading as Smith's Bellshill Haulage, of Burnbank. The nature of the goods, in the user, is not defined.
