Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A traffic check last week on the Al in Cambridgeshire unveiled 78 offences including one of using a vehicle exceeding permitted lengths.

The offending over-length Dutch vehicle was directed to proceed immediately to the nearest port (Harwich).

A total of 114 vehicles were checked in the operation.

Eleven vehicles were given immediate GV9s during the operation, and a further 19 were given delayed GV9s. Five defect notices were served, while nine tachograph offences and two Operators' Licences offences were uncovered.
