• Interlink Express has announced a second top management departure within a fortnight. Mark Reddington has been appointed general manager of Interlink's West German operation, Interlink Express Paketdienst, replacing Peter Sanden who left the company by mutual agreement' earlier this month, having helped to set up the German business.
Reddington was previously operations manager at Interlink's Hartlebury hub in the West Midlands and has been with the firm since 1982.
Interlink's chairman Richard Gabriel says the German launch has been highly successful. "We already handle on average 1,200 parcels every night compared with the same figure after two years of trading in the UK," says Gabriel
