• Waste management company HT Hughes has announced a 31% rise in pre-tax profits from 21.4m to 21.83m for the financial year to 28 February.
Turnover for the company rose by 46% from £11.8m to 217.21m.
Profits in the transport side rose by 2% to 2400,000 and the commercial truck dealership, which originally started operations in late 1987, has now moved into profit.
