Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• York Trailers has modified its curtain-sider design to earn itself an order for 40 semis from Ferrymasters: five of them in KNP Paper livery.

The 12.64m trailers have a new extra-slim rear corner pillar that gives an inner width of 2.420mm, to accommodate two rows of metric pallets down its 12.5m inner length.

A shallow roof structure, (85mm to the underside of the curtain track) coupled with a 140mm-deep trailer neck helps provide a side aperture of 2,570mm — 40mm more than Ferrymasters' existing curtainsiders. To achieve the calculated 1.825mm swing clearance. York's engineers developed a new front bulkhead with a 300mmnarrower leading face. With the curtains inset by 150mm, allowing them to wrap against the leading edge. the required swing clearance is said to be combined with an improved weather seal.

Two sets of side-mounted sliding posts support the roof, each with three positions to give 1,600rnm of fore-and-aft adjustment. These can be extended fully to accept extrawider loads. Load restraints include 10 sets of floor lashing rings and vertical stanchion pockets. Five pairs of strap winches are set beneath the recessed side raves.
