THE MI Toddington North service station is to get a large electronic display board for motoring and weather news this month.
Drivers at Toddington North — Europe's busiest service area — will be warned of hazards ahead on the giant electronic hoard. The motoring information will come from the AA's Road Watch service, as broadcast by Oracle teletext.
The advertising, which takes up the main body of the hoard, is providing the funding.
Board operator IGG Communications says that further installations are planned throughout the UK. Many are in connection with motorways and other heavily used transport centres.
