Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A VEHICLE accident claim's service has recently been set up by Claims Management ,London. It is aimed basically at the fleet operator.. "The trouble with motor insurance claims is that they represent a totally unprofitable • activity," says Barry I larvey, a director of this new company, "whether you're making claims, dealing with them or defending against them.".

Claims Management provides a range of services which will effectively act as an "in-house" claims department for a fleet operator. The cost of these services is modest, but the actual charge in each case depends on the facts involved, such as the size of the fleet, where it is based and the claims record. The fee can be paid on a subscription or commission basis Or by a system that combines both, entirely at the client's discretion.

The legal side of motor claims plays a vital part in the whole exercise. Because of this, Claims Management cooperates with a firm of London solicitors well versed in claims litigation and legislation.

Although legal expenses insurance has been on offer in the UK for over a decade, both on a corporate and on an individual basis, its growth can only be described as slow, to steady.
