FURTHER to the article appearing in Commercial Motor (May 11, 1979), written by Les Oldridge, "Employment Protection": there appears to be an error in the maximum amount of pay in deciding a redundancy award. You quote a maximum of £100. In fact from February 1,. 1979, it was increased to £110. D. W. TAYLOR, Erith, Kent.

Leslie Oldridge confirms that the amount was increased by E10 an February 1. We regret the error. — Editor
