Don International, manufacturer of brake and clutch friction materials, has appointed a new managing director.

He is Christopher Davisson, previously commercial director. Mr Davisson, who joined Don international in 1973 as financial director and company secretary, replaces Peter Osborne who has resigned from the company.

Donald Blackburn has joined Motor Panels of Coventry as manufacturing executive. Mr Blackburn, a graduate engineer, is responsible for the development of the manufacturing and engineering functions at Motor Panels' Wigan plant.

Edbro has appointed Edmund Davison as general works manager of the company's Hayes division. He moved from the Braby group to take up his new appointment.

Peter Tonge is the manager of Edbro's new airport division, which specialises in hydraulic vehicle-mounted lifting equipment for aircraft servicing. Mr Tonge was pre viously the Edbro group marketing manager.
