Frigoscandia has a new transport manager at its King's Lynn depot. He is Tony Moore and he will be responsible for a fleet of 12 temperature controlled trailers used on UK and Continental operations. Before moving to Frigoscandia Mr Moore was assistant manager at Van Omeron in Leeds, and before that he spent four years with OCL.
P and 0 European Transport Services have announced several new management appointments.
Jim Paton, formerly managing director of Thomas Allen, is now general manager of P and 0 Roadtanks Group. Brian Rosier, managing director of P and 0 Roadways, is now also general manager of the Roadways Group, while one of the group's directors is Jim Brooke, currently general manager of Henry Smither. Ian Fitzgerald, until recently general manager of the National Transport Company of Saudi Arabia, is now general manager of Thomas Allen.
Don International, manufacturer of brake and clutch friction materials, has appointed a new managing director.
He is Christopher Davisson, previously commercial director. Mr Davisson, who joined Don international in 1973 as financial director and company secretary, replaces Peter Osborne who has resigned from the company.
Donald Blackburn has joined Motor Panels of Coventry as manufacturing executive. Mr Blackburn, a graduate engineer, is responsible for the development of the manufacturing and engineering functions at Motor Panels' Wigan plant.
Edbro has appointed Edmund Davison as general works manager of the company's Hayes division. He moved from the Braby group to take up his new appointment.
Peter Tonge is the manager of Edbro's new airport division, which specialises in hydraulic vehicle-mounted lifting equipment for aircraft servicing. Mr Tonge was pre viously the Edbro group marketing manager.
