Cornelius, who has returned to North America to become vice-president and general manager of Afroll, Inc., of Oswego, New York. Other appointments announced by Alcan Industries include that of Mr. D. A. Pinn, assistant general sales manager responsible for domestic sales, who will later this year become manager of the company's New Zealand branch; Mr. D. W. Taylor, manager of the London sales office, to be assistant general sales manager responsible for domestic sales with effect from July 1; Mr. M. Bridgewater, manager Sales Development Division, to be manager London sales office with effect from July 1, and Mr. L. W. Jefferson to be manager Sales Development Division.

Mr. C. N. Tebay has been appointed principal private secretary to the Minister of Transport. He succeeds Mr. P. E. Lazarus who has been promoted.
