Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

REAC.TION TO last weeks' cancellation of the 2009 Commercial Vehicle Show continues to pour in, with exhibitors and organisers alike hopeful that the show will return in 2010.

However, the current economic conditions will doubtless be considered before any decision is made on the return of the show to which 290 exhibitors were committed -in 2010.

In a statement, the Commercial Vehicle Partnership says there has been a much more positive reaction to the return of the show in 2010.

Nigel Emms, brand and communications director at Iveco, tells CM: "We need to see how the market performs When we see a recovery in the market we will have a better view of what 2010 will bring, hut it is very difficult to see beyond each quarter."

Chris McAlister, product manager at Avery Weigh-Tronics, says it would make sense for the CV Show to take place every two years.

"When we heard that most of the commercial manufacturers had pulled out, our company was reviewing its position. Trade shows are very expensive things."
