IIROYAL Englebert Tyres has extended its range of Monoply Ivy duty tyres with the introduction of the R4 type. This is an ellel tyre designed specifically for medium weight urban delivery iicles, and it will progressively replace the R40 range in the lowing sizes: 8.25R16, 7.50R16, 7.00R16, 6.50R16 and 6.00R16.
he new tyre uses .a 100 per cent synthetic rubber compound, ich has a claimed lower wear rate than natural rubber or a Kture of both. Kerbing bands on each side wall help to minimise nage arising from kerb climbing or scuffing.
iyion chafers in the bead areas are used in preference to steel to prove resistance to damage and assist in better bonding.
