NORDE has taken over Jake Equipment UK, and is running the business from new premises at Worksop, in Nottinghamshire. It also has established a new division of Norde Suspensions.
Norde Retarding Systems is the new UK distributor for Jacobs engine brake and Jacobs electric retarders, operating on behalf of the USA-based Jacobs Manufacturing Company.
It is being run from new premises at Unit 2, Vulcan Place, Eastgate, Worksop (phone 0909 474848 and telex 547750).
The new suspensions division is the Advanced Vehicle Equipment Division, to be known as Norde AVE, which is being run by Norde marketing director Bill Johnson.
It already has become UK distributor for the Loadax vehicle self-weigher manufactured by Cirencester-based TRW Probe Electronics, and it is negotiating to add other products to its range very soon.
