SEVENTIES: an important conference :.ommercial Motor and the Passenger Vehicle Operators' ssociation are jointly organizing a one-day business conference a London on Thursday March 11 for PVOA members and their taffs. The whole emphasis will be on down-to-earth advice and :uidance for coach and bus operators.
The conference will open at 10 am and close at about 5 pm and al be held at the Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, 'ingsway, London WC 2. There will bethree mainbusiness sessions, ach with opportunity for discussion, and a separate question-and.nswer period.
This is a new venture, providing the independent coach and bus iperator with a national forum for his views and questions; and the peakers will be well known to most PVOA members for their Tactical approach.
Administration of the conference will be in the hands of CM's ssociate company Business and Industrial Training who administer .-3/ seminars and the annual Commercial Motor Fleet Management :onference.
The fee for the March 11 conference, which is entitled PSV /PERATION IN THE SEVENTIES, will be £12, and will include lorning coffee, cocktails, lunch, afternoon tea and documentation. PVOA members who examine the programme published on this ,age will, I am sure, wish to make sure of a place by registering arly. Unfortunately, as we close for press postal services are at a tand still. I would therefore ask intending delegates to reserve the ,ate in their diary, and complete the booking form ready for posting s soon as services are normal.
