Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

12-month subsidy

• At the meeting of Bridlington rural council on January 15 members decided that bus services running on nine routes serving villages in the Bridlington area should be subsidized. Members felt if this course was not adopted the services on some of the routes might be lost and they agreed to contribute towards the subsidy payment, including an agreed profit element, to East Yorkshire Motor Services for a limited period of 12 months which is subject to the agreement of other local authorities concerned contributing and also to a constant review being taken. It was stated that since the original claim for a subsidy of £9100, a letter had been received asking for a profit element of 3.27d per car mile to be added to the claim.
