• The Anglo-German road haulage quota for the year ending September 30 1971 has been fixed at 3100 return journeys, an increase of 300 over the previous year. Additionally, a special quota of 200 journeys has been agreed for operations to or through Germany during which, for at least part of the distance, the goods vehicle travels on the German "piggy-back" rail system.
Arrangements whereby no permits are required for movement of unaccompanied trailers or semi-trailers, nor for own-account operations, continue unchanged, as do the special arrangements for supplying NATO Forces in Germany.
