• The Drivers Handbook, which has been published for more than 30 years, has been updated and reissued by the Freight Transport Association. The guide tries to cut through legal largon to g.ive drivers what they need to know in plain language. It covers loading and unloading, driving offences, 0licences and vehicle testing as well as signs and directions.
The latest edition also covers the changes to driving licences from 1 July 1996—such as the new eyesight checks, speed limiters and the carriage of dangerous substances. Contact: FTA 01 892 552233.
