• Robsons Distribution Services has adapted a vehicle based on a Leyland Daf FAS2100 DHT to collect glass for recycling. The 6x2 rigid has a Palfinger 7000A hydraulic crane mounted behind the cab, a 6m Seadyke tipping body and Mackrill Engineering lifting gear. The crane operates by lifting bottle banks and emptying the contents into the tipping body. The vehicle is on contract to United Glass in central and southern Scotland.
