• Following its move to new premises last November, specialist vehicle builder Loco motors has acquired the municipal. tanker and equipment interests of GD Engineering.
This gives the Andover bodybuilder a range of drain and sewer jetting/suction units and cesspool and gulley emptiers for chassis of 13-17 tonnes gross.
Loco motors will also
produce the GD range of sewer rodding and winching gear, along with heavy-duty power boring equipment. The new product lines will be manufactured at its 5,500m2 plant on the Walworth Industrial Estate.
Since moving there, Locomotor and its sister company, Ambitron, have won orders worth £1.3 million from the private, public and military sectors.
