• MAN is expected to exhibit the ATK automatic dry clutch at this year's Birmingham Motor Show.
The ATK, developed by Fichte! and Sachs, has an electronic control box, which automatically engages and disengages the clutch on each gear change. MAN claims the ATK system reduces the amount of work the driver has to do. It also cuts drivetrain wear an the risk of transmission damage through faulty handling.
