Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EXPERT interpretation of lorry driver Clive Nightingale's tachograph chart secured his acquittal on a charge of crossing two red traffic lights on London's North Circular Road last June.

The prosecution called a Metropolitan Police forensic scientist who claimed that the chart proved the case.

But expert tachograph analysis showed that the police did not stop Nightingale's vehicle until it had travelled 6km past the location of the alleged offence.

And the Microscope showed that some of the relevant traces had been made after the police officer who stopped Nightingale had signed it.

Nightingale, a driver with John Fox and Company, of Upminster, was awarded £1,000 costs.
