THE THEFT of containers loaded with cigarettes led to £1,118,033 damages being awarded against Containerway and Roadferry (NFC company) Carreras Rothmans in the High Court this week.
Containerway and a security firm, K Security Company, were sued for negligence and breach of contract, but Mr Justice Tudor Evans found only Containerway to blame.
