THE MANAGEMENT board of UK express parcels delivery specialist Lex Wilkinson has been announced, fbllowing the sale of the Lex Service subsidiary to Federal Express Corporation of the USA, the world's largest express parcels carrier (CM, February 1). Four members are former Lex Service senior personnel; a fifth transfers from the new parent company.

Colin Millbanks, who was managing director of Lex Transportation Group, which included transport companies such as Bees Transport, Carpet Express and Albany Express, is now managing director of Lex Wilkinson. Ile reports to Frederick Smith, chairman and chief executive officer of Federal Express.

Former director of Engineering Services with I.ex Transportation Group, Mike Taylor, is now LW's director of technical services. As well

as engineering, Taylor is responsible for property and technical development.

Malcolm Howard is director and chief operating officer controlling the Lex Wilkinson operating board. Howard, who was managing director of LW's General Parcels Services, is now responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.

Financial director of Lex Wilkinson is Dan Copp. He was previously Federal Express's vice-president of corporate communications and head of corporate finance.
