Implements EC Directives 92/1 and 92/2 on the monitoring of temperatures of quick-frozen foods during transport, warehousing, and storage. Also covers sampling procedures, methods of analysis and keeping of records.

SI No 1911 The Rood Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) (No2) Regulations 1994—cif 31 August 1994. Extends the issue of trade licences to businesses modifying vehicles at any time and valeting them prior to sale, whereas previously they had only been issued for such activities prior to registration. Also allows vehicles used to travel to or from the place of collection of a vehicle to be carried Jn that vehicle.

SI No 2280 The Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 1994—cif 1 October 1994/1 April 1995. SI No 2488 The Roads (Traffic Calming) (Scotland) Regulations 1994—cif 31 October 1994. Permits roads authorities in Scotland to introduce traffic calming measures.
