He describes the thrills and spills of his truck training course including the mysteries of balaclava braking. Undeterred he undertakes delivery of a load of Guinness to an English pub in the centre of Moscow and follows it up with two trips to the US where he develops an addiction to Snickers bars. Coster visits many cities and misses the sights of every one but learns that in American truckstops you can have a fry up called Road Kill. The book is an affectionate look at the lives of drivers and the essential art of ducking and diving. The book priced at £15 will be published on 23 February by Viking.
