• Centaur Fuel Management Systems has gained exclusive sales rights in the transport sector for the Sirius searchlamp, which is manufactured by Pathfinder Lighting Systems.
The Sirius boasts 200,000 candle power output and can light up a man-sized object up to 800 metres away.
It lists a number of features including an in-built rechargeable NiCad battery supply, wa
ter resistant switch and charging socket, a stress resistant case and a 100 watt sealed beam mounted on shock absorbing rubber cushion.
The Sirius is suitable for many transport applications, most notably depot/site security and surveillance, and vehicle inspection. It is already in use in the USA with the famous New York SWAT police team.
