• CSC (Specialised Vehicles) has delivered 20 fully equipped mobile workshops to the Royal Engineers. They house a full complement of hand tools and machine tools.
The machine tools include a lathe, pillar drill, and power hacksaw. These are powered by a generator which travels in conjunction with the workshop. The workshop housings are made from a GRP bonded sandwich with a central core of insulating foam. It is the biggest single contract undertaken by CSC for the Ministry of Defence.
