Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Europa BS range of compact hot water/steam pressure cleaning machines from Psimat has been specified to meet British Standard 5415 which identifies levels of safety for equipment of this type.

Pressure and flow are "operator adjustable" and the heating coils can lift water temperatures to 155°C (or 90°C at full flow) for de-waxing, de-gassing fuel tanks and sterilizing.

Features include built in water softeners and automatic timers which stop the machine if it is left unattended for six minutes. Safety factors include hoseproof exterior controls and three separate safety systems to guard against heating coil explosion. Physically, the device will fit into the back of most estate cars.

Operation is by means of a trigger-operated gun which controls the on/off flow. Several lances and nozzles are available for special applications.
