Goransson, who runs a logging business, was attempting to shift an icebound trailer using his cabmounted crane when the whole unit slowly tipped over. Goransson was forced to jump clear of the unit to avoid being crushed by the logs on the trailer. He fell five metres, breaking his right foot, a shoulder, dislocating an arm, and suffering concussion.
