Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BRS Northern has just clinched a 2500,000 deal with the industrial hygiene products manufacturer Evans Vanodine International to supply five Volvos and a Ford Cargo on contract hire over five years.

To improve distribution efficiency BRS has fitted swap body demounts which use a Dobson Clearlifter system from trailer manufacturer S Cartwright and Sons of Altrincham in Manchester.

The fleet, which will work out of BRS's Preston branch, comprises three Volvo FL616s, an FL6-14, an FL7 6x2 rigid and a Ford Cargo. • Parcels carrier Parceline, part of the Mayne Nickless group, plans a 21 million extention to its hub near Dudley, West Midlands, which is due for completion next June. The extra facilities, including a fourth conveyor belt, laser reading devices and changes to the building itself, will raise its capacity by a third.

The company says a record 1.6 million parcels passed through its hub during November. Its computer sorting system, which was installed in February, is being upgraded, and by July all 26 collection centres will be linked to a central computer.
