of a company name was settled this week when a High Court judge slapped a temporary injunction on Hunts Trucks and Trailer Centre and its owner, T F Matthews.
The order bans Matthews from calling his firm Hunts Truck and Trailers, HTT, Hrr (C), or similar initials, until a further hearing on 12 January. At that time the plaintiff, Huntingdon Transport Technology of Station Lane, Offord Cluny, will apply for a permanent injunction, alleging "passing off— an attempt to trade on an established reputation by using a similar name.
Mr Justice Vinelott was told in court that Matthews had started a new company called Hunts Trucks and Trailer last month.
