to other local authorities last February, has added eight new gulley emptiers and four refurbished gritters to its hire fleet. The gully emptiers have Dennis Eagle 5,500-litre bodies on Volvo FL6 chassis. The gritters, which belonged to the nowdefunct West Yorkshire metropolitan authority, are Dodge G16 chassis with Atkinson bodies which were re-modelled in house.
