"I FEEL I must tell you about a wonderful old vehicle my father has just retired along with himself," writes Mrs. P.M. Newton, from Leigh-on-Mendip. The vehicle is a 14-year-old Albion. "For most of that time LMR—as we call the Albion—has been going up and down the road to Chertsey carrying stone all day and every day from the heart of the quarrying industry," says Mrs. Newton.

"With the help of LMR and hard work Mrs. Newton's father, Mr. G. L. Duffey of Warminster, has built up a business with five on the staff. "He was well known on his run by all sorts of people and I am sure missed as well. It doesn't seem right to see him standing doing nothing. They don't make them like that any more!"
