Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A MODERN-STYLED intercom system now available from Associated Telephones can connect up to 16 people or departments. The AT7200 series features multiway speech, facility for loudspeaking master and if necessary connection to fire-alarm systems. All sets are direct-wired to reduce switchboard workload and are easy to install.

All units in the AT7200 series are modelled on the latest GPO pattern and give speech reproduction to GPO standards.

Finished in two-tone grey and fitted with coiled extensible cord, the sets have pushbutton operation; as many conversations as there are pairs of instruments are possible.

The new equipment can also be adapted for use with a loudspeaking master unit, set to operate and page from the handset by means of a button, while full "conference" facilities are available between all stations.

There are three basic instruments, the five-button design allowing up to six stations, the 10-button giving 11 stations and the 15button for 16 persons or departments. Operation can be from mains or battery although mains is recommended.

Made by: Associated Telephones Ltd., 122-128 Arlington Road, London, NW1. Price: Six station, £106; 11 station, £208; 16 station, £325.
