AXLES and suspensions from new vehicles which have been converted into six-wheelers by the Primrose Third Axle Co. Ltd. are now being offered to operators as cut-price spares. While being technically secondhand, the spare axles have run only the delivery mileage.
Prices range from £110 to £150—the top price applying to 10-ton axles. Most popular models made by Bedford, BMC, Commer, Dodge, Ford and Seddon are available. So are springs (at £12 10s each), helper springs (at £3 lOs each) and spring hanger brackets (at £1 each).
The components are being sold through Primrose Group Sales, .Grove Lane, Padiham, Lancs.
