Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COBLEY TRANSPORT (Reading), which took on the Palletways work of defunct Reading Freight Service last year, has gone into administration. The business, which has its trading address listed as Arrowhead Road in Theale, Reading, was placed into administration with FA Simms & Partners on 7 August.

The firm also had a depot in Thatcham at Colthrop Business Park, where Reading Freight Service had been based covering the RG postcode for Palletways. Cobley Transport (Reading) held an 0-licence for up to 30 vehicles and 35 trailers at this site. The administration is not believed to have

affected PK and IF Cobley, which trades as Cobley Transport, based in Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. This firm shares Peter and Ann Cobley as common directors, but is understood to be a separate legal entity.

Leicestershire-based Cobley Transport had a turnover of nearly £8m in the year ended 31 March 2012. It has an operations depot near its HQ at Stoney Stanton and has an 0-licence to run up to 65 vehicles at three locations in Leicestershire.

Peter Cobley was not available to comment as CM went to press, while FA Simms & Partners declined to comment.
