Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Parcels carrier Panic Link says it has suffered no downturn in business since the jailing of its chairman, Eric Norman, for causing death by reckless driving (CM 1-7 Aug).

Pauline Norman, his wife, is now managing director and according to training and development director Eric Lindsay the business continues to go forward — it has just set up an Irish base.

Lindsay says that Eric Norman has not played an active role in the business for the past four months.

"I am not prepared to comment on whether Eric will take up his role as chairman on release," he adds.

The Irish base will be operated by Nigel Cinnammon, an agricultural distributor in Belfast who is keen to develop a parcels operation.

Panic Link offers a next-day service on daily flights to Ireland as well as a service by sea.
