Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• London Carriers International is losing many of its parcels routes to sister firm Bondelivery in a switch ordered by Swedish parent Inter Forward, which took over both companies last year.

Bondelivery will take over LCI's "outlying regions", includ ing East Anglia and the Scottish Highlands, adding £1.75m to its turnover.

Croydon-based LCI describes the move as "logistically sensible". Any unnecessary lorries will be taken back by Ryder, which owns them in a lease-hack deal (CM 8-14 Aug).

Sondelivery says the new work will fit into its existing schedule and will not require extra vehicles. Since its takeover by Inter Forward the company has added consumer electronics and other "vulnerable merchandise" to its portfolio of drink and tobacco distribution.
