FOLLOWING a three-month dispute between dockers and ti British Transport Docks Board at Southampton, shipping lines set ing the Far East, North America, Europe, South and East Africa ha. returned to the port since normal working resumed earlier ti month.
Deputy port director Dennis Noddings says that it is difficult predict how long it will take to get back to pre-dispute levels activity. But a two year deal with the unions "gives us a reasonat period of time to try to regain lost business," he said.
