AS A contribution to the Year of the Disabled, members of West Middlesex Coach Operators' Association are to supply 15 coaches free to take handicapped people in Ealing, Hounslow and Hillingdon for a day out at Clacton on August 26. They are also providing lunch for their guests at a holiday camp.
Suppliers to the industry are helping with sponsorship and donations are expected to total more than £1,000 to cover the cost of the outing. The association hopes that this generous gesture will become an annual event. I am sure the guests will, too.
