• T . ish Standards Institution'scommittee dealing with the packaging industry is taking urgent action to alert the industry to the need for co-ordination with BSI in its changeover to the metric system. Trade associations, suppliers, manufacturers and users are being asked not to finalize arrangements in their own immediate areas without feeding their proposals to BSI. The accent is on co-ordination
and rationalization which could offset the cost of the changeover.
