FOLLOWING our issue of August 15, we have received a nice little note of 'congratulation from Major H. E. Crawfurd, President of Associated Road Operators, on what he terms the helpful leader,-" Will Road Transport be Nationalized? " which he thinks is just what was wanted.

We have also received from the same Association a note concerning our paragraph, " Are Association Activities Still Kept Too Secret? " The Association statesthat whilst it welcomes the Press at its various .functiOns, it is impossible to admit it on. such an occasion as the afinual general meeting, attendance at which is exclusively confined to members of the Association. It denies that on that occasion criticism was voiced concerning the paucity of meetings of the Association's National Council.
