IVE would strongly enlphasize the VY need for traders and others quickly to arrange the pooling of their vehicles where this can be effectively performetl. This matter has already been referred to in " The Commercial Motor," but there is little doubt that the supplementary rations of petrol will be refused for retail-delivery purposes in cases where the Regional Transport Comtnissibner is not satisfied that the requisite steps have been taken towards rationalization.
